The LG G3 is set for a late June unveiling and it seems like the leaks are already pouring in. A User Agent Profile leak has now revealed that the upcoming LG flagship will sport a 16-megapixel camera sensor. Another leak was focused on the series of apps that the smartphone is said to be coming with.

These apps include the likes of Concierge-Board, Favorite Contacts(W), Tangible Reality IO, G-Board, PayPal, McAfee Mobile Security and LG Account. The addition of a Concierge app sounds very interesting and could be a nifty feature to have on a smartphone.

Existing apps from the current LG flagships such as QMemo, QVoice, LG Cloud etc have been replaced with updated versions with a + sign next to them indicating that some new features have been added.

There’s still a bit of uncertainty over the fingerprint scanner on the LG G3, but we should know more with future leaks. Reports have indicated that LG might take a different route from Samsung or Apple and implement the scanner on the back beneath the camera sensor, much like the HTC One Max.

The camera on the G3 could be of particular interest to the fans as an upgrade to a 16-megapixel sensor is likely to bump up performance. Last year’s LG G2 sported a 13-megapixel sensor with OIS, while the sensor on the LG G3 is expected to pack the new OIS+ feature which was seen on the LG G Pro 2 recently.

The G3 is certainly one of the much awaited devices of the year after the Samsung Galaxy S5 and the HTC One (M8) and we’re sure LG won’t disappoint. It is expected to feature a 5.5 inch 2560 x 1440 resolution display, a quad core 2.5 GHz Snapdragon 801 chipset, a 16-megapixel camera with OIS+, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and Android 4.4 KitKat with a new LG UI.
