As a way to enhance wound care through advanced technology and ensure equitable and precise diagnostics for diverse skin tones, Swift Medical has made a global launch of its next-generation wound care platform called ‘Skin & Wound 2’ on Sunday, October 20. This was made possible using Swift’s patented artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, FHIR standards, submillimeter imaging accuracy, and integration with electronic medical record (EMR) platforms like Homecare Homebase.
“Skin & Wound 2 demonstrates our continued commitment to empowering clinicians with the most advanced tools available, enabling the delivery of superior wound care outcomes,” said Swift Medical CEO Dwayne.
Over 50 million patient assessments have been performed using Swift’s platform, and it has been backed by over 22 peer-reviewed studies.
“We see it as our moral responsibility to harness the power of generative AI to revolutionize patient diagnostics, ensuring highly accurate results for every skin ton,” added Sansone.
The Swift Medical platform has also achieved over 600,000 evaluations in a single month, courtesy of 21,000 clinicians. The company’s services are already utilized across 4,800 healthcare facilities, with plans of additional features to be implemented next year.
“Our deeply collaborative partnership with Swift provides our customers with the best digital wound care solution in the market to help patients heal faster,” commented Scott Pattillo, Chief Strategy Officer of Homecare Homebase.
