Back in mid-September, CyanogenMod announced that it is going public and is working on an installer that will allow users to easily install CyanogenMod ROM on their devices in just a few click. A couple of months of beta testing later, the CyanogenMod team has finally released the CyanogenMod installer on the Play Store.

The CyanogenMod installer will be a one stop solution for many people that will allow them to unlock the bootloader, root and install CyanogenMod on their device. Currently, the CyanogenMod installer supports the different variants of the Nexus devices, HTC One and the Galaxy S4 and S3. The full list of supported devices can be found here.

Sadly, the installer has only been released for Windows with an OS X version already under development. A Linux version would be released only if there is an high enough demand for it.

You can download the CyanogenMod Installer from the Play Store, and the Windows installer from beta.get.cm. Make sure to backup your data before proceeding with the installer, and keep in mind that this will void the warranty of your device.
