Sprint could not have found a better time than this to roll out the Android 4.3 update for their variant of the Galaxy Nexus. The update comes more than 2 months after Google had initially rolled out the update for the Nexus devices.

By rolling out the update today, Sprint is saving itself from the outrage of all Android fans since they are all busy waiting for Google to announce Android 4.4 KitKat and Nexus 5.

Anyways, the Android 4.3 update should bring about a noticeable improvement in the smoothness and battery life of the handset. The update also includes a new radio so Sprint users might see better network performance post the update. There are no other changes apart from this, except for some under-the-hood bug-fixes brought by Android 4.3.

The update is being rolled out in stages so it will be a while before the OTA update notification pops-up on your phone.
