For those times when a 140-character text tweet just won’t do, Twitter is making it much easier to broadcast your thoughts live.
After an initial beta test, the social network is rolling out a new riscope button inside the Twitter app on Android iOS. en you go to compose a tweet, then choose to insert media, you’ll see a new “live” option.

You’ll then be able to broadcast live through riscope or get a prompt to download the app.
To ensure you have the feature, grab the latest version of Twitter from the App Store or ay.
y this matters: riscope has a key advantage over Meerkat by being a subsidiary of Twitter. th such quick access to going live, more people may be willing to give the feature a try. The downside, however, is that Twitter has struggled with harassment terrorists using its network, so there could be some hazard in such wide availability of live broadcasting.
