th the G3 confirmed for an official unveiling on May 27th, there might be little left to question about the device. The smartphone has been the subject of numerous leaks over the past few weeks, but that hasn’t stopped from releasing a teaser video on Tuesday, inviting you to see the G3 in larger-than-life splendor. 

By offering its own glimpse at the G3, it would appear that might be working to neutralize the leaks that have already outed the phone. The company has already confirmed that the G3 will ship with a 5.5-inch, 2560×1440 display via a press release, so why not show some high-production-value video of the phone as well?

The video itself is short sweet, offering more theatrics than specifics. Still, there are a few notable teases in the video, especially regarding the finish of the device. In all likelihood, the G3 will be made of plastic come in a faux metal finish, yet the hset in the video looks much more premium than that. Only time will tell what materials uses for its flagship smartphone, but a metal G3 would undoubtedly turn heads. 

Another interesting feature that we previously hadn’t seen is portrayed toward the end of the video: seems to have done something very similar to Motorola’s Moto X active notifications. ile this could be the work of the Quickndow case that introduced with the G2, it definitely wouldn’t hurt if we saw some sort of similar implementation. 

The video was obviously released to build hype for the G3, I think it just might live up to some of it. th a display resolution that’ll kill anything else in the Android smartphone market—even if it’s overkill— is pulling out all the stops for its upcoming flagship smartphone.
