Earlier this month, Samsung officially unveiled its new Tab 4 series tablet lineup. Historically, this family of tablets has remained on the humble side when it comes to specifications, solidifying Samsung in the affordable Android tablet market. Now the refreshed lineup will be heading to a U.S. store near you on May 1st.
Coming in 7.0, 8.0, 10.1-inch variants, the Tab 4 lineup essentially shares identical specifications outside of screen size battery capacity. l three will also ship in both -Fi-only E options, where all four major U.S. carriers will offer at least one of the tablets starting this summer.
Given the middle-of-the-road specifications, you’ll find that the new Galaxy Tab 4 series will come at very affordable price points. -Fi-only pricing will start at $200, $270, $350 for the 7.0, 8.0, 10.1-inch options. It would be easy to assume that customers seeking a data-enabled Tab 4 will be able to buy one for even cheaper, on contract through a carrier.
ile the Galaxy Tab 4 lineup isn’t set to arrive until the first of next month, pre-orders will start tomorrow, just in case you think they’ll sell out. I wouldn’t be concerned about that. For those of you looking for a little more power under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy TabO NoteO lineup might be a better fit.
