Surprise surprise! Google has started rolling out an incremental Android 4.3.1 Jelly Bean update for the LTE variant of the new Nexus 7.

The 9.4MB OTA update does not bring any visible changes or improvements, except for some unknown under-the-hood bug-fixes and stability improvements.

The update is only for the LTE variant of the new Nexus 7, and not for any other device of the Nexus family. The update also bumps the Android build number to JLS36I.

Google has rolled out a couple of minor OTA updates for the Nexus devices since it released Android 4.3 to fix some bugs, but this is the first time the company has bumped the version number.

Google is aggressively rolling out the OTA update so there is no need to sideload or manually install the update.
