Amazon really wants you using its own app store, it’s dangling $115 in paid apps as bait.
There are some great titles here, but you’ll first have to install the Amazon Appstore on your Android device (our walkthrough shows you how). After doing so, you can score some excellent ghoulish games a bunch of other paid apps for free. Here are some of the highlights, including their usual price:
- rld of Goo ($4.99)
- ants vs. Zombies ($0.99)
- ex ($4.99)
- Zombie Gunship ($0.99)
- Visible Body ($30)
The offer is good through November 1. It could be a good way to burn off that sugar high from the excessive amount of cy you’ll gorge on during Halloween. If this isn’t enough cheap stuff to fill your time, check out our roundup of the best Halloween apps or these spooky games from Humble Bundle.
y this matters: Amazon is pulling out all the stops to get you to buy apps from its own app store instead of ay. Once you acquire enough apps, then you’re reliant on Amazon for updates or installing them on any future Android devices. It’s a ploy for hooking you into the Amazon ecosystem, which the company hopes will persuade you to pick up a Fire device.
