The small-but-mighty Moto E is leaping ahead of several more expensive flagships in the race to Android 5.1. It joins a number of other devices this week that are finally getting their turn at some long-overdue updates.

Moto E: It may be a budget phone, but it beats out a ton of others when it comes to getting the latest version of Android. Android lice found several XDA Developers posts referencing an update to Android 5.1, which is the most recent version of ’s OS. If you haven’t seen it yet, hang tight as it’s rolling out now to the unlocked device.
Moto X (2013): It’s been a long wait to get llipop for the first-gen Moto X. Motorola executive David Schuster said in a + post that it’s finally coming in a few weeks. He said that “lack of support from some of our partners” is to blame for the eternal delay, though that’s probably not much consolation if you’ve been stuck on KitKat for this long.

Asus Zen tch: Some watch owners are posting on Reddit they’re seeing the upgrade to Android ar 5.1.1. It’s actually a pretty significant update, bringing -Fi support, always-on apps, new gestures, a better app launcher.

Ten different devices from the Miami-based Blu products are getting Android llipop. They include the Studio G, Star 4.5, Studio 6.0 HD, fe One, fe One X Vivo Air, fe 8 X Studio Energy. The devices are sold as part of prepaid no-contract plans with MVNOs, such as Boost Mobile Cricket reless.
Verizon
HTC One M7: The tried–true original One is getting its taste of Android llipop. HTC’s Mo Versi confirmed on Twitter that it’s on its way in the form of an over-the-air-update. ong with the newest version of Android you’re getting enhancements to visual voicemail, three-way calling, a file manager, HTC’s Eye Experience software.
Sprint
Nexus 5: ‘s phone is getting Android 5.1.1. ok for an over-the-air update from Sprint to bring all those bug fixes that accompany this update.
AT&T
