It’s a llipop-alooza this week, with several flagship devices getting their turn with the latest flavor of Android. It’s an especially kind week for ay ition devices, as many of them get bumped up all the way to Android 5.1.

They’re part of our weekly roundup of major software updates for the biggest devices, including phones tablets on U.S. carriers, unlocked phones, even wearables. AT&T

Galaxy S5: There’s a bunch of hububub today about the new Galaxy S6, but if you have the former flagship all you want is your llipop upgrade. Fortunately it’s here. ok for an over-the-air update from AT&T, make sure you’re connected to -Fi.

Galaxy S4: It may be two generations back, but Samsung hasn’t forgotten about its GS4. The AT&T update is here, so hopefully this will bring some splash to your device.

HTC One M8: This update bumps you all the way up to Android 5.0.2, which has all that Material Design goodness bug fixes. AT&T says you can update it over-the-air by triggering it manually. It does not includes Sense 7, however. That’s coming in a future update.

Sprint

Galaxy Note 3: This edition of Samsung’s popular phablet is finally getting some llipop love. Sprint released the update April 9, so it should hit your device anytime.

Galaxy Note ge: Same goes for the curvaceous edition of the Note – you’re also in store for an over-the-air llipop update.

HTC One M8: Stock Android on HTC hardware is a slick package, it will get even better with Android 5.1. There are a lot of bug fixes, so grab it once you get that update notification.

G d: won’t complain that the G d is getting Android 5.1 before the 2013 Nexus 7 (OK, maybe we will a little). Nonetheless it’s on its way. If you’re impatient, Android lice has a stock image you can use to flash it yourself.

3G Nexus 7 (2012): This device is an ancient relic in tablet years, but it’s still getting the latest version of Android. You can now grab Android 5.1 from the Nexus factory images page if you don’t want to wait for the update to hit your tablet.

Sony Z Ultra: This is the latest ition device to get Android 5.1. It should arrive any time, though there’s also a link to the OTA if you want it now.

Xperia Z2: Sony’s Twitter account says the Android 5.0 update is on its way. It’s a phased rollout, so you may have to be patient before it hits your device.

Xperia Z2 Tablet: It’s the same story here. Be on the lookout for an over-the-air update to hit your tablet within the next few days.

Cellular

Galaxy S5: It’s coming to you later than on other carriers, but the llipop update is on its way from Cellular. You can either wait for the over-the-air update or download it manually with Samsung’s Kies software.
