Even if your phone has good data plan, sometimes it is easier on the eyes to switch over to a tablet.
If you live in an area where Freedomp offers service, you can now get the company’s (mostly) free data voice service on your own Sprint-compatible E tablet, or purchase one from the company. eviously, Freedomp’s free plans were only available on smartphones.
Mobile data on a tablet is certainly nice to have, especially when travelling. Freedomp’s free plan includes 500MB of data, 500 messages, 200 voice minutes. The latter means you can use mobile voice capabilities on a tablet should the need arise, or for using services like Uber atsapp, which are designed to be used with a phone number.
Freedomp’s device selection is limited to just two tablets, however: The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 for $200 or the original (non-Retina) id mini for $320. Either is available in black or white. The devices Freedomp sells are refurbished, but in like-new condition.
Freedomp, of course, is also willing able to sell you additional data if you wind up chewing through that free 500MB. Be sure to read the fine print if you sign up with the service to take advantage of its free offerings, however, to avoid being hit with surprise charges out of the blue.
Freedomp also makes available several different phone models if you decide to go all-in with the company’s services. The same caveat applies if you decide to skip the Freedomp-offered hsets to bring-your-own-phone—the device must be supported Sprint-compatible.
Moving beyond Freedomp, T-Mobile also offers a limited amount of free data for tablet users.
