After teasing the upcoming V15 Pro earlier this year, Vivo has officially unveiled the newest handset with a pop-up camera.
The Vivo V15 Pro follows along with the company’s NEX Dual Display, but boosts the power of the front-facing camera. First up, the 6.4-inch OLED display, which is housed in very thin bezels and no notch or chin. The handset is running Android 9 Pie out of the box, with Vivo’s proprietary software on top of it. There is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor under the hood, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of built-in storage.
The Vivo V15 Pro’s standout feature is the 32-megapixel pop-up camera. Meanwhile, there is a 48MP rear camera, which is outfitted with two additional cameras: an 8MP super-wide shooter and a 5MP depth camera. Vivo also included a 3.5mm headphone jack. It features an in-display fingerprint reader.
However, it does not have a USB-C port, but rather handles charging through, inexplicably, a Micro USB port. It does not have wireless charging, either.
No word on when the Vivo V15 Pro will launch, or in which markets it will be available. However, we do know it will cost Rs 28,990 in India whenever it does arrive.
What do you think of the V15 Pro from Vivo?
