The Razer Phone 2 launched not too long ago, and the handset doesn’t have a specific carrier exclusive deal in the United States. However, the handset is unlocked and the device should work on just about every option in the U.S. as long as there’s network coverage.
However, that is apparently not the case right now. The official Razer Twitter account has let its followers know that the company is aware the Razer Phone 2 is not working on Verizon’s network in the U.S. “right now”. According to the company they are working on a fix, and trying to enable it “ASAP”, but, at least based on the information provided in the tweet, there does not appear to be a specific date for a planned rollout.
We're aware that Verizon is not enabled on the #RazerPhone 2 right now and are working to enable it ASAP—hang in there!

Razer also includes a link to see the supported frequency bands, noting that the flagship smartphone is capable of working on LTE, GSM, and HSPA+ networks. Whatever the issue is with Verizon Wireless, though, Razer apparently believes they can get it fixed and working on the largest wireless network in the U.S. at some point in the near future.
This isn’t the best possible news for folks who picked up the Razer Phone 2 and expected it to work on Verizon’s network (the website explicitly says the phone will work on the big red network). One expects their $800 smartphone to work as marketed, after all. Still, it’s good to see Razer’s working on a fix. Hopefully it arrives soon.
