We already know that the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL will arrive in black and white shades, thanks to the copious amount of leaks for both handsets at this point.
Now, a new leak suggests we may see a third color option after all — but it won’t be what was previously expected. Android Headlines has a new image to share with the world, showcasing the Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3 XL in a new “Sand” color option. That’s Google’s marketing for pink. We can see the two-tone color on the back of the phone, and the same pink shade along the sides as well. The black borders will still be on the front as usual.
Rumor had it that Google was planning on launching a “Mint” color option for the upcoming flagship smartphones, offering a new green option. But, according to this report, it turns out that might not be the case after all, with this pink color being the third option instead. Then again, it’s also possible that Google launches a separate fourth color option, with the pink getting announced first and the green color coming at a later date.
Whatever the case, it looks like we should expect to see the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL in Sand unveiled next week. What do you think of the color option?
