5G networks are going to start rolling out in certain markets beginning in 2019, and some smartphone manufacturers are already preparing their handsets to support the next stage of wireless technology.
Xiaomi appears to be one such company, as the Director of Product Management and global spokesperson Donovan Sung continues to tease the upcoming Mi Mix 3 ahead of its public unveiling later this year. Sung posted a new photo on his Twitter account recently, giving us another clear look at the Mi Mix 3 with its minimized bezels. But he’s also teasing 5G support as well:
We've successfully tested 5G data connections on Xiaomi phones, and we can't wait for the official rollout of 5G next year! 🎉🎉
5G download speeds are more than 10X faster than 4G speeds. What's everyone looking forward to the most? ⚡⚡️⚡️ https://t.co/vLAH3wosni

Unfortunately, we’re going to have to handle these drip-feeds of information regarding the Mi Mix 3 for a bit longer. It’s not likely Sung will stop teasing the upcoming flagship any time soon, even as October inches ever closer. But the company will more than likely want something to announce next month, too.
What do you think of the Mi Mix 3’s design? We can’t see the pop-out camera in this shot, but we know it’s there.
