The Huawei P20 is one of the devices that is expected to be unveiled on March 27, when Huawei hosts an event in Paris, France.
The smartphone manufacturer has already confirmed that the big event will showcase something new, and the event invitation teased that Huawei was planning on unveiling a smartphone with three rear cameras. Rumors and leaks have been pointing in that direction, too. And now Evan Blass has posted a new image of the upcoming handset on Twitter.
The image shows both the front and back of the upcoming P20. On the back, there is the name “Shirley” where previous leaks have suggested the Huawei brand name would go. And, as expected, the P20 is going to have a pair of cameras on the back — not three. Which seems to confirm that the Huawei P20 Plus will be the handset that will boast a trio of cameras on the back.
Meanwhile, around front, there is one important detail: A notch at the top of the display. This is a design similar to the Essential Phone or the Apple iPhone X, where the front-facing camera system is housed in a specific area, and the rest of the display flanks that notch.
There is also an Oreo cookie on the display, seemingly pointing to Android 8.0 Oreo being on board the P20 when it launches later this year.
So, based on what we’ve heard about the P20 at this point, are you eagerly anticipating the phone’s arrival?
