Earlier this month it was confirmed that Nokia’s and HMD Global’s upcoming flagship smartphone, the Nokia 8, would be announced on August 16.

And both companies have done just that. The Nokia 8 is now officially official, featuring a 5. (bobbergdesigns) 3-inch QHD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor inside, and variants that offer either 4GB of RAM or 6GB of RAM. The Nokia 8 will also be offered in either a 64GB variant or a 128GB model, with the primary focus being the pair of cameras on the back of the handset. Each sensor is a 13-megapixel shooter, one of which shoots in color and the other in monochrome. There is also a 13-megapixel camera on the front, too.

The cameras mean that HMD Global could introduce a feature called Dual-Sight mode. With this, Nokia 8 owners will be able to record a video or take a photo using the front- and rear-cameras at the same time in a split-screen fashion. It’s called a “Bothie.”

The rest of the specs sheet runs down like this: a microSD card slot for expandable storage, a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a fingerprint reader. The Nokia 8 is running Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box. The handset will be available in a variety of blue colors (Tempered Blue, Polished Blue, and a Gloss Blue with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage), Steel, and Polished Copper.

Nokia and HMD Global confirmed that the Nokia 8 will see a global launch beginning in September, and it will be priced at €599, or about $705 USD.
