OnePlus today announced the release of a limited edition ‘Soft Gold” color for the OnePlus 5. The handset will be available in limited quantities and come with 6GB RAM/64GB of storage.

The new color option has been priced the same as the base variant of the OnePlus 5 which is available in Slate Grey color: $479/€499. While the Slate Grey and Midnight Black colors for the OnePlus 5 had a black front, the Soft Gold color has a white finish at the front.

OnePlus has not explicitly stated the number of Soft Gold OnePlus 5 units it will be putting up on sale. All it has said that it is a limited edition device that will be available only until supplies last. So, if you like the soft gold finish of the device, make sure to pull the trigger as soon as possible.

Additionally, OnePlus also announced that it will now be offering the 8GB RAM/128GB storage variant of the OnePlus 5 in the Slate Grey color. This color was previously reserved only for the base variant of the device with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. The Midnight Black color still remains exclusive to the 8GB/128GB storage variant. You can buy the 8GB RAM variant of the OnePlus 5 in Slate Grey finish starting from today itself.
