For anyone who might not have picked up a Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+ from Samsung just yet, there’s a new color scheme to consider.
Today, Samsung has announced that it is bringing the Coral Blue variant of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ to the United States. This new color scheme is being added to the Midnight Black, Orchid Gray, and Arctic Silver color options that are already available. However, customers won’t be able to just head into their wireless carrier’s retail shop and pick up the new color option.
The Coral Blue Galaxy S8/Galaxy S8+ will be exclusively available from Best Buy and Samsung’s online shop. Customers will be able to choose from the carrier-specific devices from Verizon, Sprint, and AT&T, though. There will also be unlocked variants of both handsets available as well. The devices launch on July 21.
It’s worth noting that if you pick up a Coral Blue Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+ from Best Buy between July 21 and July 29, you can get up to $400 off the full retail price of the handset through a qualified purchase or activation.
The original color options for the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ were certainly eye-catching, but the Coral Blue stands out all on its own. While it might not be good news for any Galaxy S8 owners out there that may have wanted to pick up this color at launch, at least there’s another option to choose from for anyone who might have been on the fence in picking up Samsung’s newest flagship.
