Google today announced its first store-wide summer sale on the Play Store. The sale will see the price of many popular games and apps dropping down to $0.99 or down by 80% of their regular price, with popular movie rental prices also dropping to a dollar.
The discount on apps and games varies from region to region, with the list of discounted apps also varying depending on where you live.

If you are a movie buff, you can rent from a catalogue of popular movies from the Play Store for only $0.99. This includes Power Rangers, Get Out, and the Batman Movie.
Make sure to head over to the Play Store to view the complete list of apps, games, movies, and books on sale. The sale lasts until July 6, with the discount on movie rentals valid up to July 13 in some regions.
