Nokia 3, 4, 5

After initially unveiling the Nokia 3, 5 and 6 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona this year, Nokia is finally getting around to launching the phones across the world. Today, the company launched the handsets in India and provided details about their pricing and availability.

Unlike other Chinese OEMs, Nokia has not focused solely on specs with its comeback Android-powered smartphones. All the three phones offer excellent build quality that can put their rivals to shame. While the Nokia 6 and Nokia 5 feature a unibody design made from series 6000 aluminium, the Nokia 3 is made from hard plastic with a metal chassis.

As the naming scheme denotes, the Nokia 3 is the cheapest of the bunch and is powered by a quad-core MediaTek processor. It features a 5-inch 720p display, an 8MP rear shooter, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, and the usual Wi-Fi/LTE connectivity options. It is priced at Rs 9,499.

Next in line is the Nokia 5, which sports almost the same design as the Nokia 6. It comes with a 5.2-inch 720p HD display, 2GB RAM, a 12MP shooter, 8MP f/2.0 front shooter, microSD card slot, and a 3000mAh battery. The handset has been priced at Rs 12,899.

Lastly, there’s the Nokia 6 that will come with a 5.5-inch Full HD display, an octa-core Snapdragon 430 chipset clocked at 1.4GHz, Adreno 505 GPU, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, microSD card slot, and a 3000mAh battery. The handset also features a 16MP f/2.0 shooter at its rear with PDAF and dual-LED flash. There’s an 8MP f/2.0 shooter at the front of the handset for your selfie needs. Nokia has priced the Nokia 6 for Rs 14,999.

The Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 run on Android 7.1 Nougat, while the Nokia 3 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. They all are running a stock build of Android with no customizations or enhancements thrown in by the company. Nokia also promises to roll out monthly security updates for the phones in the country.

Nokia 5 will be available offline exclusively, while Nokia 6 will be available online through Amazon India with registrations for the first flash sale scheduled to start from July 14th.

To ensure proper support, Nokia says that it has set up over 300 service centres in the country, with over 400 exclusive retailers across the country to sell its smartphones.
