The guys at PhoneArena have discovered an ad on Samsung Taiwan’s YouTube channel that’s pretty outrageous. It stars a young woman with a Galaxy S4, who is sitting with her fellow pupils in what’s obviously a rip-off of the school for wizards in the Harry Potter films. When she gets caught using her phone in the classroom, her professor demands she stand before the class and show them the magic she’s capable of performing. As expected, she uses the gesture controls to play some music, look up the weather, and other such gimmicks.

Will this ad sell more GS4 units? Probably not, but it’s definitely interesting to see how phones are marketed in different parts of the world.
