The additional RAM, storage space, and DeX dock do ensure that this ‘special edition’ Galaxy S8 Plus will retail for upwards of $1,000 or 1,155,000 won. Samsung has not announced an official price for this variant, though it does list the model on its Korean website. The variant will be available for purchase through various South Korean operators and Samsung’s own store.
For regular Galaxy S8 or S8 Plus buyers, Samsung will be offering a free Level Bluetooth speaker.
Samsung is likely releasing this special edition Galaxy S8 Plus in Korea to ensure that it is able to keep a certain niche of its spec maniac customers happy.
