Android O

Along with announcing Android O, Google also dropped the first Developer Preview of the OS for compatible Nexus and Pixel devices.

Google is not making the first Developer Preview of Android O available to consumers through the Android beta program since this build is strictly for developers and comes with a fair share of bugs and stability issues.

The devices for which Google has released the first Developer Preview of Android O are as follows:

  • Nexus 5X
  • Nexus 6P
  • Nexus Player
  • Pixel C
  • Google Pixel/Pixel XL

You can download the Android O factory image for these devices from here. Note that installing the factory image requires an unlocked bootloader and will wipe the device clean of all your data. And if you want to roll back, you will have to flash back the Android 7.1 Nougat factory image that will again delete all your data from the device.
