Earlier this year, Google officially unveiled the Daydream View headset, which works with its Daydream virtual reality (VR) platform.
At the time, Google not only showed off the gray option Daydream View, but also Snow (white) and Crimson (red) variants as well. Unfortunately for future buyers that were fans of the white and red options, those models weren’t available right out of the gate. But that’s finally changing.
Google is now accepting pre-orders for both the Crimson and Snow Daydream View VR headsets. Both the Snow and Crimson models come with a white touchpad-equipped controller, so be aware of that. That appears to be the only difference when compared to the Slate Daydream View headset, as both the Crimson and Snow variants are also listed at $79.
Both new headsets should begin shipping by December 8.
