With the Pixel and Pixel XL going on sale in the United States, Google has released three new advertisements for the handsets. Unlike other companies that feature celebrities in their commercials, Google’s ads for the Pixel stars YouTube celebrities.

The three stars featuring in Google’s Pixel ads are Todrick Hall, known for his musical spoofs; Alisha Marie, daily vlogger  and known for her makeup tips; and Connor Franta, a daily vlogger.

The ad starring Todrick Hall sees the YouTube star using Google Assistant and Pixel to design his own jacket with “Todrick” written over it.

The ad starring Alisha Marie sees the YouTube star making use of the Pixel to click photos during a glamping trip to Hollywood hills.

The final ad featuring Connor Franta and cute and adorable puppies shows the YouTube star using his Pixel to make a Duo video call to his friends and mom.

What do you think about these three Pixel ads from Google? When Google said that it was going to serious about the smartphone market at the launch of the Pixel, the company sure was not joking. The company has advertised its new Pixel handsets more in the last couple of weeks than it ever did for its Nexus devices throughout their lifetime.
