Google has plans to announce new smartphones on October 4, but also reveal more about its in-home assistant, Google Home.
Now, a report from Android Police aims to shed some light on what the Google Home assistant, and the Chromecast Ultra, will cost. If the sources are accurate, then Google Home will retail for $129 when it goes on sale later this year. That would put it noticeably cheaper than the Amazon Echo, the biggest competitor to Home, which still retails for $179.99.
As for the Chromecast Ultra, which will stream 4K UHD content, that will reportedly cost $69. That’s a bit of a markup compared to the $35 of the traditional Chromecast.
Do you plan on picking up either one of these products?
