Samsung has officially unveiled a brand new tablet for South Korea, with support for one of Samsung’s most popular accessories.
The new tablet is the Galaxy Tab A (2016), and it officially supports the S Pen. It’ll be available initially in South Korea, and there’s no word on when it might come to other markets, but considering the reach the previous Galaxy Tab lineup has reached, that seems like a safe bet.
The Galaxy Tab A (2016) boasts a 10.1-inch 1080p HD display, with a 1.8GHz octa-core processor. It offers 32GB of built-in storage, with a microSD card slot, and 3GB of RAM. There is a 8MP camera on the back, and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. (www.richmondartmuseum.org) It will run Android 6.0 out of the box, feature a battery measured in at 7300mAh, and 4G LTE connectivity.
The S Pen will allow owners to write notes in the Samsung Notes app, even when the display is off, plus quite a bit more.
The Galaxy Tab A (2016) will cost 489,000 Won in South Korea, or about $435 USD.
