Xiaomi has issued an important software update for the Mi Max in India that fixes the Wi-Fi connectivity issues plaguing the latest batch of the handsets sold in India.

The 1.3MB update will fix the Wi-Fi connectivity issues and ensure it works as intended. You can grab the OTA update from the Updater app, which is located inside the Tools folder.

In case, the update does not show up on your device, you can download the OTA ZIP file from here. Transfer this file to your PC, go to the Updater app, tap the three-dot menu overflow button located on the top right corner of the display and select the Choose Update package option. Now, proceed to select the OTA ZIP file and accept the option to reboot your device when prompted.

Alternatively, you can also head over to your nearest Xiaomi/Mi service centers to get the problem sorted.
