A) No, the Vibe K5 Note does not feature a removable battery.

A) The Lenovo Vibe K5 Note features a hybrid SIM card slot. This means that you can either 1 SIM card and microSD card or 2 SIM cards at any given time. The SIM card slot accepts nanoSIM cards.

A) No, the 5.5-inch display of the Vibe K5 Note is not protected by Gorilla Glass. It is a strengthened glass that is less prone to scratches, but it is not Gorilla Glass.

A) The fingerprint scanner on the Vibe K5 Note is located at the rear, and yes, it is touch based.

Q) Can you record slow-motion videos on the Vibe K5 Note?

A) No, the Vibe K5 Note does not support recording videos in slow-motion. It can, however, record videos in Full HD resolution at 30fps. The handset also lacks an HDR Auto mode.

Q) Does the Vibe K5 Note support LTE and VoLTe? Will a Reliance Jio SIM work on the phone?

A) While the Vibe K5 Note does support LTE and VoLTE, the latter is not enabled on the phone right now. This means that you cannot use your Reliance Jio SIM card to make phone calls through the Vibe K5 Note. You can, however, use mobile data on the handset.

A) No, it does not. Lenovo, however, has bundled a 2A charger with the phone, which ensures that it will still charge the phone plenty fast.

Q) How much free storage space does the Vibe K5 Note has out of the box?

A) Almost 23.4GB out of the box. This can be increased by moving apps to SD card and uninstalling some bloatware.

Q) Can you uninstall or disable pre-installed apps on the handset?

A) Yes, you can uninstall pre-installed apps on the K5 Note. Some apps cannot be uninstalled, but they can be disabled. You can free up an additional 500-700MB of free space on the internal storage of the handset by uninstalling some pre-installed bloatware.

Q) Are the capacitive keys on the Vibe K5 Note backlit?

A) Yes, the capacitive keys on the Vibe K5 Note are backlit, but they are still too dim.

Q) Does the Vibe K5 Note support Marshmallow’s Adaptable storage?

A) Yes, the Vibe K5 Note supports Marshmallow Adaptable storage feature that allows you to fuse an external storage with the internal storage of the device. This requires the SD card to be formatted, though. You also have the option of using the SD card in ‘Portable storage’ mode, but you cannot move apps to SD card in this mode.

Q) Has Lenovo bundled earphones or a microSD card with the K5 Note?

A) No, the K5 Note does not come with a pair of earphones or a microSD card. You do, however, get a transparent back cover that is pre-installed on the phone. Lenovo also bundles a plastic screen protector with the phone.

Q) Does the handset support USB OTG?

A) Yes, the Vibe K5 Note supports USB On-The-Go. This allows you to directly connect pen drives, external hard disks and more using an adapter to the device.
