With the Galaxy Note 7 launch less than a week away, the Korean company has released a teaser ad highlighting some of its features. The 30-second teaser does not show the device itself, but hints at all the new features coming to it.
The video hints at the Note 7 being water resistant, featuring an iris and fingerprint scanner, and being called the Note 7 (and not Note 6). Reports and leaks have already confirmed that the Galaxy Note 7 will feature an iris scanner and an IP68 certification just like the Galaxy S7, thereby making it dust and water-resistant.

The Galaxy Note 7 is rumored to feature a 5.8-inch curved Super AMOLED screen with Quad HD resolution. The handset is expected to feature largely the same design as the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, with just a few tweaks here and there. Unlike the Galaxy S7 though, Samsung will reportedly be offering the Note 7 with base 64GB of storage space along with a microSD card slot.
Samsung is all set to unveil the Note 7 on August 2nd in simultaneous events being held in Asia, London, and New York. The device is also reported to go on sale or pre-order in some markets of the world on the very day. And if you are wondering why Samsung is calling its next Note as the Note 7, and not Note 6? The company had stated earlier that it is doing this to align its Galaxy S and Galaxy Note series of devices and to avoid any confusion in the mind of consumers.
