Earlier today, Samsung sent out invites for the global launch of the Galaxy Note 7 on August 2nd. However that has not stopped the phone from being leaked online. Today’s leak consists of a barrage of (poor quality) photos of what looks like a working prototype of the handset.
The leak does not really reveal anything that we have not already seen in the previous leaked photos from earlier this week.
As a quick reminder, the Galaxy Note 7 is expected to come with a 5.8-inch curved Super AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 821/Exynos 8890 chipset, 4GB RAM, 3600mAh battery. Like the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, the handset will feature IP68 certification and the same camera setup as found on the Galaxy S7. The device will also be reportedly running a new version of Touchwiz that looks more streamlined and mature than the existing version of the skin found on the Galaxy S7.
Are you excited about the upcoming Note device from Samsung, especially after just how good the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge turned out to be? Or will you wait for the next Nexus handset from Google and HTC?
