Google today announced that it will be offering Project Fi subscribers access to high speed data in over 135+ destinations. Additionally, Google now says that with the addition of Three to Project Fi’s network, it will be able to deliver 10-20x higher speeds than before.
All these benefits come at no extra cost to Project Fi subscribers; they will continue to pay $10 for 1GB of data like they have. This price remains the same, even if they use the data in international destinations.
And to help you jump on the Fi bandwagon, Google will be offering a $150 discount on the Nexus 6P provided you buy and activate Project Fi on the handset. The promotion starts from later today and will run until next week.
If you are someone who regularly travels abroad, Project Fi at this point should be a must have for you. Are you already a Project Fi subscriber? If yes, how happy are you with the service?
