Samsung isn’t a strange to special editions of its handsets, and the Galaxy S7 edge –the company’s latest flagship– is already getting the full treatment.
In late-May, Samsung officially launched a Batman-themed Galaxy S7 edge, which was a tie-in with the popular video game Injustice: Gods Among Us. Now the company is back at it again with a brand new handset, but it’s not quite official just yet. Leaker Evan Blass (@evleaks) managed to get his hands on an image showing off the front and back of the unannounced Galaxy S7 edge Olympics Edition smartphone, and it has plenty of color to show off.
The Olympics Edition looks like a Galaxy S7 edge would look for the most part, with a few color accents to really make it stand out. That includes a blue accent around the rear camera housing and flash, along with the five blue Olympics rings imprinted on the back case. On the side, the Power button is red, while the volume rockers are green.
Meanwhile, on the front, there are gold accents on the earpiece and around the Home button below the display.
The Summer Olympics kick off on August 5, so while Samsung hasn’t officially announced the Galaxy S7 edge Olympics Edition just yet, the wait should be coming to an end soon. Pricing hasn’t been revealed yet, either.
What do you think of those accent colors?
