Another day, another Galaxy. According to the Korean website Naver and the Japanese website Blog of Mobile, Samsung is going to bring yet another Galaxy to market, this time called “Golden”. It’ll be a clamshell device similar to the Galaxy Folder I reported earlier this week, and it’s going to be targeted at middle-aged people. Does that mean it’ll have that hilariously ugly “Starter Mode” version of TouchWiz turned on by default?
There aren’t too many specs to share, though it’s said the phone will feature two 3.7 inch AMOLD screens. One will be on the face of the device, while the other will be inside. Again, think clamshell.
Will this phone be sold outside Korea and possibly China? That’s a tough question to answer since Samsung is so unpredictable. There’s a Galaxy phone that launched in China that’s only now coming here to Finland. Why? Because it’s cheap. While I could see Samsung trying to push the Golden/Folder in different markets, I can’t imagine people wanting to go back to flip phones.
I could be wrong!
