HTC 10 Android N update

Earlier today, Google rolled out a ton of new announcements by way of its keynote speech kicking off this year’s Google I/O developer conference.

As part of that, Google shed a bit more light on Android N, and even launched a beta ready for folks out there in the real world to try out, if they so desire. So of course, now that the keynote is over, questions for manufacturers regarding future updates are starting to pick up.

Apparently wanting to get ahead of that curve, HTC took to its official Twitter account to announce that its three latest devices, the One M9, One A9, and the most recent flagship, the HTC 10 (which we reviewed right here), will all be receiving the update to Android N.

Unfortunately, that’s all the company could say at this point. However, HTC’s Jeff Gordon said that as far as a scheduling a release goes, they’ll have more to announce when Google releases the new version of Android to companies.

Android N is expected to land on Nexus devices later this year, sometime in the fall, so hopefully HTC doesn’t have to wait long to issue the update.
