Moto G4 press render leak

Notorious leaker @evleaks has posted a press render of the Moto G4 giving us a clear look at the front of the handset. The bigger sibling of the Moto G4, the Moto G4 Plus, has leaked in plenty of pictures until now, but the former has remained camera shy up until now.

The press render confirms that the Moto G4 will continue to run a stock version of Android, and that it will not feature a fingerprint scanner. Leaked images indicate that the Moto G4 Plus will come with a fingerprint scanner on the front, which is missing from the Moto G4 press render below.

The Moto G4 is expected to feature a 5-inch display, while the Moto G4 Plus is rumored to come with a 5.5-inch display. Motorola will be unveiling the handsets at an event in Delhi, India on May 17th, i.e. in two days from now. The smaller variant of the Moto G4 will feature 2GB RAM, 16GB of storage space, and a 13MP rear shooter, while the bigger variant will sport 3GB RAM, 32GB of storage, and a 16MP shooter. Both phones are expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 430 processor.

Given the spec differences between the Moto G4 and the Moto G4 Plus, and the lack of a fingerprint scanner on the former, it is likely that the price difference between the two variants will be higher than anticipated.

Are you looking forward to the launch of the Moto G4?
