With the OnePlus 2 nearing its first anniversary, the Never Settle company is bound to release the OnePlus 3 soon. While the company has not made any formal announcements, the handset has started showing up in database of various certification and regulatory sites.

Today, a handset bearing the model number OnePlus A3000 made its way through China’s 3C certification, which is likely the upcoming OnePlus 3. The certification does not provide us with any information about the specs of the handset, but it does provide us with details on its charging specs that are very interesting to say the least.

The listing reveals that the OnePlus 3 will support fast charging that is capable of supplying up to 4A of power at 5v to the phone. This means that the phone will be able to accept a maximum wattage of 20W — higher than 18W which other fast charging methods in the market usually supply. OnePlus also recently trademarked “Dash Charge”, which ties in nicely with the charging specs of the OnePlus 3.

This should likely make the OnePlus 3 have one of the fastest charging technology in the market, if not the fastest.

The OnePlus 3 is expected to sport a Snapdragon 820 chipset. It is rumored to be available in 2 variants: one with 4GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage; and another with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage space.

OnePlus has not yet started teasing the unveiling of the handset yet, but once it does, be rest assured that you are not going to miss it, thanks to the company’s noisy marketing tactics.
