Moto-G4-Launch-May-17th

Motorola today has started sending out invites for an event on May 17th in New Delhi, India where the company is widely believed to launch the Moto G4. The handset has leaked a couple of times in some blurry-cam pictures revealing that it will be coming with a home button in the front likely with a fingerprint scanner integrated into it.

The Lenovo-owned company was widely expected to unveil the Moto G4 in early June, but it looks like the company has changed its mind and plans on unveiling the handset earlier than anticipated.

With almost three weeks for the phone’s unveiling, I’d expect the G4 to leak a few times until then that should reveal all its specs and features.

The Moto G series has been the most successful lineup of smartphone from Motorola, and it helped the company make great inroads in the Indian smartphone market. Almost a year after its launch, the Moto G3 still remains among the most compelling handsets in its price range in India. However, this time around, things can be a bit different with Lenovo’s influence being visible on Motorola’s product lineup. Whether this will be good or bad for the popular budget series is something that only time will tell.

What are your expectations from the Moto G4? Do you still want it to be waterproof?
