The HTC 10 has already leaked plenty of times, but today’s leak brings us something new: it shows the AnTuTu score of the handset, which at a staggering 156091 points is significantly higher than other devices on the market.

This includes devices like the Samsung Galaxy S7 with its beastly Exynos 8890 chipset, Xiaomi’s Mi 5 that is also powered by a Snapdragon 820 chipset, and the iPhone 6s.

Rumors have pointed to HTC 10 comes with a Snapdragon 820 chipset, 4GB RAM, and a 5.1-inch Quad HD display. Considering that the Mi 5 also comes with a Snapdragon 820 chipset, it is interesting to see HTC’s upcoming flagship smartphone score significantly higher points than it.

It is possible that HTC is pushing the Snapdragon 820 chipset into overdrive mode while running benchmarks. After all, the company has done something similar in the past, so this behavior from the Taiwanese smartphone maker will not exactly be surprising. Nonetheless, HTC is known for optimizing its Sense UI for better performance, so irrespective of what the handset scores in the benchmarks, its real-life performance should be stellar.

HTC has already announced that it will be unveiling the 10 on April 12, with the handset likely going on sale towards the end of the month.

With the Samsung Galaxy S7, S7 edge, and the LG G5 already on sale or going on sale in most markets of the world by the end of this month, it is unlikely that most consumers are going to be excited about HTC’s upcoming flagship. What do you think? Are you excited about the HTC 10?
