LG G5 official announcement tease

Mobile World Congress is set to kickoff later this month, but, just like Samsung, LG wants to get ahead of the curve a bit.

The Life’s Good crew has officially confirmed via its social media presence that the G5, the highly-anticipated new Android smartphone, will take the stage on Sunday, February 21. LG’s announcing the device one day before MWC starts, but it will still take place in Barcelona, Spain, at the Sant Jordi Club.

Of course, while LG is happy to tease the announcement, they aren’t divulging any official details just yet. Rumors have it that the G5 will boast a 5.3-inch QHD display, and feature a 16-megapixel camera on the back, with an 8MP front-facing camera on the other side. It’s also rumored to feature a secondary display, just like LG’s V10.

Are you looking forward to seeing the G5?
