LG today announced that it has started the rollout of two of its smartphones under its new K-series range: the K10 and K4 in “key global markets.” The rollout starts with the handsets making their way to CIS and Europe this week, with Latin America, the Middle East and Asia getting the handsets in the coming weeks.
LG had unveiled its new K lineup of smartphones at CES earlier this month. The new lineup focuses on the mid-range segment and feature great build and camera quality. They also come with LG’s new glossy pebble design language.
“Affordable mass-tier phones with advanced features are becoming more and more important,” said Juno Cho, President and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. “Our newest K Series is designed for our consumers to experience LG’s premium design philosophy and optimized mobile experience across disparate smartphone categories.”
With the high-end smartphone market saturating, it makes sense for LG to focus on the mid-range segment to further fuel its growth. Thanks to their new deisgn and impressive cameras, the new K series of smartphones should do well for LG.
