After offering unlimited smartphone LTE data to its Simple Choice customers for the next three months as a holiday gift under its Unwrapped campaign, T-Mobile today announced its second gift targeted towards Sprint subscribers.
The un-carrier will be giving “long-suffering” Sprint customers an extra $200 for every line that they port over to its network. This $200 will be over and above the $650 that Sprint subscribers are eligible for to cover their early termination fees and balance on the phone that they have leased from the carrier.
“I cannot think of any wireless customers in more desperate need of some holiday cheer than those Sprint customers still hanging on over there,” said John Legere, president and CEO of T-Mobile. “Those poor people have put up with the nation’s slowest and smallest LTE network, and their carrier throwing out a deal-of-the-month for everyone except them. We know Sprint’s customers love T-Mobile when they switch, so this holiday season, we’re taking away every barrier and cost to coming over to the Un-carrier and America’s fastest 4G LTE network. Happy holidays!”
The offer is eligible for postpaid and prepaid Sprint subscribers as well as those on Boost and Virgin Mobile’s network. The $200 bonus is applicable for every line that you switch over to the un-carrier, so if you get your family of 4 or more to switch over to T-Mobile, you will get a credit of $800 or more.
Additionally, T-Mobile is also offering unlimited 4G LTE data for families with four lines for only $45 per month. Under this plan, all the four family members will also be eligible for all the other T-Mobile benefits like Binge On, free international roaming, and more.
T-Mobile will also be announcing offers for Verizon and AT&T subscribers over the next few weeks.
