Motorola today announced that it is launching its first-ever “experiential boutique” in its hometown — Chicago. Called Moto Shop, the company will be showcasing its various products at the store where you can go hands-on with them to fully experience them.
The company will also have a small section dedicated to Moto Maker where you will be able to get your hands on genuine leather, real wooden backplates, and a palette of colors to create your own customised Moto X Pure Edition. There is also an area dedicated to the Moto 360, where you can customise the watch according to your liking.
To show off the camera prowess of the Moto X Pure edition, Motorola has a dedicated section in the shop where you can click pictures using the device and some fun props. Lastly, to show off how shatterproof the screen of the Droid Turbo 2 really is, Motorola has setup a dedicated Drop Zone inside the shop, which consists of slabs of marble, concrete, ceramic and tile.
The Moto Shop is all set to open on November 7 — right before the holiday season. Motorola is also holding a grand celebration on November 14. The shop is located at 108 N. State St. (Suite 140 at Block 37), and remains open from 10-8p.m. from Monday through Saturday and 11-6p.m. on Sunday.
