Samsung Pay

In October, it was confirmed that while Verizon Wireless didn’t support Samsung Pay at launch, the Big Red carrier had every intention of supporting the mobile payments option.

Now, after a lengthy wait, owners of Samsung’s latest Galaxy-branded smartphones can install the app from the Google Play Store. It’s worth noting that there’s a small software update available from Verizon that you’ll need to install to get Samsung Pay working completely, but otherwise it’s just a download away at this point.

As far as support goes, the Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge, Galaxy S6 edge+, and the Galaxy Note 5 are all supported for Samsung’s mobile payment option.

Any Verizon subscribers out there going to try out Samsung Pay?
