Motorola today launched the Moto X Play — its flagship handset for 2015 — in India. Like previous other handsets from the company, the Moto X Style will be available exclusively through Flipkart in the country.

The Moto X Play comes with a 5.7-inch IPS LCD display with Quad HD resolution and front-facing stereo speakers. Under the hood, the device is powered by a Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor, an Adreno 418 GPU, and 3GB RAM. The rear of the phone houses a 21MP shooter with an F/2.0 aperture and dual-LED CCT flash, while the front houses a 5MP wide-angle front camera with a flash.

Other notable features of the handset include Turbo Charging, Moto Display, microSD card slot, LTE connectivity, Water repellent coating, and a 3,000mAh battery.

The Indian version of the Moto X Style also comes with dual SIM functionality. The 16GB version of the handset has been priced at Rs. 29,999, while the 32GB version will retail for Rs. 31,999. The handset will go on sale on October 14 in Flipkart with some launch day offers. (fujifilm-x)
