HTC reportedly has plans to launch another flagship smartphone at some point before the end of 2015, and according to a new report, this is that phone.
It’s being called the HTC A9, or Aero, and if the images are any indication, HTC certainly took some design inspiration from Apple. The back of the handset is even compared to Apple’s iPhone 6, and it would be hard to argue that the A9 doesn’t look like the iPhone 6. HTC did change the camera location when compared to the One M9, though, with the round housing now placed above the top antenna band, rather than underneath it.
As for the front of the handset, it is said to feature 2.5D curved glass edges.
Unfortunately, the photos are pretty low-quality so there’s not an easy way to glean any real details from them. There’s a chance they’re renders, too, so keep a pinch of salt handy while looking at what’s rumored to be HTC’s next smartphone.
What do you think of the design?
