Earlier today, we got our first look at the Huawei Nexus, which showed the metal unibody design of the handset and the rear camera bump in all its glory. Now, just a few hours later, @onleaks has posted more photos of the upcoming Nexus handset from Huawei, though the device is enclosed in a case this time.
However, the images do show the USB Type-C port located at the bottom center of the device in all its glory. Another picture of the handset in fastboot mode confirms that the Huawei Nexus will come with a 64GB storage option and will be powered by a Snapdragon 810 chip.
The leaked photos of the Huawei Nexus from earlier today gave us a better look at the device. The photos confirmed that the device will be coming with front-facing stereo speakers and a ‘halo’ fingerprint scanner at the rear.
With Android 6.0 Marshmallow, Google is adding support for USB Type C to the OS and introducing native fingerprint scanner support and relevant APIs, so the inclusion of these features on the Huawei Nexus should not really come as a surprise.
Live photos of the Nexus 5 (2015) with a similar design language as the Huawei Nexus had leaked earlier this month as well.
