Samsung Galaxy Note 5

Starting from today, you will be able to purchase Samsung’s latest big screen flagship, the Galaxy S6 edge+ and the Galaxy Note 5, in select markets of the world. The devices were unveiled just over a week ago at the company’s Galaxy Unpacked event.

Both devices went up for sale in South Korea earlier this week, and beginning from today the Galaxy S6 edge+ will be going on sale in selected markets including the United States, Canada, Hong Kong, and Korea. The Galaxy Note 5 will also be available through major carriers in the U.S. starting from today, though T-Mobile had started selling the device from earlier this week itself. The device, however, will not be making its way to the European market this year.

Both the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+ come with a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with Quad HD resolution, though the latter’s display is curved on both edges. Under the hood, they are powered by an Exynos 7420 chipset, pack 4GB RAM, 32/64GB of blazing fast UFS 2.0 storage space, a 3,000mAh battery, fast wired and wireless charging, a 16MP rear shooter with an F/1.9 aperture and OIS, and a 5MP front shooter.

It was only earlier today that Samsung announced its new promotional ‘Ultimate Test Drive’ program where it is allowing iPhone owners to switch to any of its latest smartphone for 30 days for only $1.
